Ellett Family Christmas Party

We went over to my brothers house last night for a Christmas Party with my immediate family. The kids all got to open a present from their cousin gift exchange. We always have so much fun when we are together!!! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Eve, and a very merry Christmas Day!!!

Christmas Parties

The Wallin Family Christmas Party was on Sunday. The kids love playing with their cousins, and Kathy (kevins mom) always has extravagant and delicious food prepared!! The kids got to open a present from the cousins gift exchange so they were very excited!

The extended Ellett family Christmas Party was last night. We had so much fun - good food, games, & great company! It is always nice to get together with all of my cousins and aunts and uncles on my dad's side of the family!!

NO SCHOOL! - SNOW DAY! We spent our morning out playing in the snow. Making show angels, having snowball fights with the neighbors, and making a reindeer snowman. Now we are enjoying hot chocolate. Happy Snow Day!!!

K.C.'s Christmas Program

K.C. had his school Christmas Program this week. It was really crowded (standing room only). It was really hot, and the girls were frustrated because they couldn't see. But, other than that it was a good program. K.C. and Easton are in the same class. They both did really good - I think! (I was one of the parents in the very back standing in a crowd of other sweating parents, and trying to entertain my other kids who couldn't see anything but the backs of other people):) Well they both looked really cute, that is all that really matters right!!!!

Our Thanksgiving Weekend (late)

Wow, sorry how everything on my blog lately has been (late)!! We went up north to Kevin's Grandparents for Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun seeing his cousins that we don't get to see very often. Kay & Norma were such gracious hosts and the meal was delish!



We took the kids to the Festival of Lights in Spanish Fork Canyon. You drive around this huge park with your lights off listening to Christmas Music while looking at all the beautiful lights. The kids loved it, we went around twice.


We also went to Thanksgiving Point to the Dinosaur Museum. That place is huge, it just keeps going and going! The kids thought it was awesome! They loved playing in the dirt with the little dinos, and they especially loved digging in the dirt for dinosaur bones - even Taylee joined in on that one.

Happy (late) Birthday Cari

Happy Birthday Cari! Cari is one of the funniest, nicest, thoughtful-est, and best sister-in-laws ever! I hope you had a fun day!

This is what we have been up to

Girls Trip!! There was alot of talking, texting, shopping, and eating. Not alot of sleeping. We had a blast and cant wait to do it again next year. (Kena you better be there!!) Thanks Jen and Katie for letting us stay at your house. Good times and lots of memories: Staying up way too late, waking up way too early, chocolates, Maccaroni Grill, PF Changs, Jason-wink-wink, Annie I will always remember that little room - hahahaha, the person at the door-who the heck was that?, texting. etc..... Girls, I had a blast!


K & M had their last soccer games this last weekend. They both did so good! I am sad it is over. I love watching my kids play soccer, or any sport for that matter! I guess I am a true soccer mom:)



Last week it was my little Brother Clint's Birthday. We went out to the cemetery and left baloons. I can't believe it has been eight years since he passed away. I miss him and love him. But, I know one day I will see him again!! Love ya Bud!

Happy Halloween!!! ( A little late)

We started out the day at K.C. school for their annual Halloween Parade. Then I helped out with their Halloween Party. We made cookies, played musical chairs, ring tossed, pumpkin bowled, and painted. Mckell came and helped me with the pumpkin bowling.

Later we headed to Mckells preschool for their Halloween parade. They Paraded around for all the parents. They sang a few Halloween songs, then Trick-or-Treated to all of the Parents. Maesi tagged along.

That night we went over to Brandon & Maleas and had pizza and sugar cookies before we went out Trick-or-Treating. The kids had a ball running from house to house collecting all of thier candy. Our Neighborhood is awesome!! There was a house giving out Hot dogs, Another one giving out Frazzle Slushies, there was a Haunted House, and a Haunted forrest, and even a witch riding around on her old fashioned bike giving out candy. Fun for all! Even Taylee loved it!

He's S E V E N {7}

He has wanted a Halloween Birthday Party for weeks now. So thats what we did. We made caramel apples, played wrap the mummy, ate donouts off a string, and played in the pupmkin patch.

Shout out to Mom & Dad & Yummy Spice pumpkin muffins

Just wanted to say hi to my mom and dad. We love you! (They are serving a mission in New York)




YUMMY PUMPKIN SPICE MUFFIN RECIPE

ingredients:
1 spice cake box mix
2/3 cup canned pumpkin
2 eggs
1 6oz. carton of low fat vanilla yogurt
3/4 cup water

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large mixing bowl mix together the cake mix, pumpkin, eggs, yogurt & water until combined. Spoon mixture into muffin tins. Bake for 20 min.

This recipe is quick and easy and yummy. Plus it is low fat because I used pumpkin and yogurt in place of the oil. ENJOY!

GOOOOOOO THUNDER

Mckell and Allee did the Desert Hills Thunder's cheerleading clinic this past week. They both had so much fun. They were sooooo cute during half time at the football game, even though it was so windy and cold!

She was so polite. At first she didn't want to eat it with her hands.

But, that didn't last long. Pretty soon she had it everywhere!

She was so cute opening her presents. We could not get her to smile for anything.

We finally celebrated T's b-day. We didn't have a big party or anything, just us! We had cake and she opened her presents. She was so cute with her cake, she wasn't sure what to do with it at first, but after she figured it out IT WAS EVERYWHERE!!!
