JURY DUTY
I have been summons for Jury Duty four of five times since me and Kevin have been married. (Kevin has never been summond) I have never had to appear in court though. I was recently summond for Jury Duty and was supposed to call in the Friday after Thanksgiving. Well, I completely forgot about it until Monday afternoon. I called in and found out that I was actually supposed to appear in court monday morning at 8:30. I talked to a lady there and was told that I am in contempt of court, may be fined for up to $1,000 and jailed for up to 30 days. WHAT THE!!! I wrote a letter to the court begging for forgiveness. Hopefully no one will have to visit me in jail:)

Jury duty is so ridiculous. I recently found out that I was called to jury duty twice in the last four years here. But I never knew cause I was in Virginia. Nothing ever happened to me...yet.
I wouldnt worry.
I'm sorry!
That is sooooooooo funny because I was summoned too and I got Picked. Stupied huh? I didn't even recognise them calling your name. But I don't recognize your last name as Williams. I am sure you will be fine. The judge will ask for a explaination and he said that some people really do forget. It is good that you contacted them first. I can't believe I got picked!!!! It was a long long process. We were there all day from 830 to about 5:15pm
Hey Brandee, this is Kaytee from high school. I noticed your blog on Malea's hope you don't mind me taking a peek. On the subject of jury duty, all you have to do is say you are a stay at home mom with an infant, and you are exempt. I got summoned right after I had Laralee and found that out. Hope this helps. By the way very cute family.
Did you attach a picture of your new born baby? And tell them to call somebody who doesn't have four little kids? I think it's retarded that they can do that!
