YUMMY PUMPKIN PANCAKES
I got this recipe off of my Cousins blog. I made them last night, and we loved them! I didn't have any molassas, I just added the brown sugar, and they turned out yummy. I think they would also be good with chocolate chips. Thanks Erin!
2 1/3 cups Bisquick baking mix
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 1/4 cups milk
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/3 cup mashed pumpkin
1/4 cup vegetable oil (or canola oil)
Preparation:
Beat all ingredients with a whisk or hand beater until well blended. Pour batter onto hot, lightly greased griddle or skillet. Cook until tops are bubbly and edges are dry. Turn and cook pancakes until golden brown.
If you don't have dark brown sugar, put in 3T of light brown sugar and 1T Molassas. They are so yummy if you like pumpkin! Enjoy!

K.C.'s Namesake (and the coolest kid ever)

Today would have been my brother Clint's 22nd B-Day. I cant believe it has been 7 years since he passed away. It makes me sad because he has missed so much in our mortal lives, but I know he is aware of everything and watching over us in heaven. I know that he knows my children and I believe he got to spend time with them before each of them came to earth. I miss him so much, and not a day goes by that I dont think of him. I Love you runt.
-MEMORIES-
-Riding our bikes down the ski slopes during a rain storm in Colorado.
-Riding the Tower of Terror again, and again, and again.
-Cliff jumping at Lake Powell.
-Playing the slap game in the truck, as my dad would get madder, and madder (is that even a word?) at us.
-Him teaching me how to Snow Board at Brian Head.
-Him throwing his egg salad sandwich at me, cuz he was mad.
-All of us kids sleeping in my bed on Christmas Eve, not sleeping, and listening to music as loud as it would go to trying to get our parents to give up and let us open presents.
-Him making Kevin sleep in front of the door to my parents room, while me, Clint, Brax, and Dusty slept in my parents bed - so the bad guy wouldn't get us. (we thought someone was in our house when my parents were out of town)
-Late night talks.
-Him referring to Kevin as FURY:)
Clint was such an amazing person and I am glad I got to know him for the short time he was with us. Thanks for the memories!

I want to be like my dad when I grow up
I love, love this picture. It was taken during the Bow Hunt this year. KC loves to shoot his bow at the targets with Kevin and his cousin Easton. He is actually pretty good.
Dirt, Fishing, Dirt, Hunting, Dirt, Camping, Dirt, Dirt, Dirt...
I know these pictures are a little old, but I just got them developed. These are pictures of the kids during the summer camping on Cedar Mountain. The kids absulutley love camping, hunting, and fishing. They love being able to play outside all day, getting dirty-and staying dirty:)

Happy Birthday K.C.
Today is K.C.'s Birthday. He turned SIX today, and all he wanted to do for his birthday was go hunting with his dad. He was bummed that Kevin didn't get anything yesterday, but excited because that meant he got to go again today. (Good job babe, I am so proud that you were finally able to hit something!!!)
K.C. is such a sweet and happy boy. He loves anything boyish - playing outside, digging in the dirt, riding his bike or skateboard, playing soccer, playing catch, hunting, camping, fishing, 4-wheelers, helping grandpa Bob at the farm, helping papa with anything - surprisingly he loves to work and is a very hard worker. (hopefully he will hold on to that trait) HAPPY BIRTHDAY KACE!!

Mckell the Cheerleader
Mckell went to the Dixie High Cheer Clinic that they had all this week. She had so much fun. They taught them a little routine that they performed at the Football game last night. She did such a good job, we are so proud of her! - Dummy me forgot to take my camera, so no picture, but she looked so cute:)

KIDS...
Kids say the cutest things!!
K.C. - mom my foot is all tingly, and feels funny.
Me - It probably fell asleep from the way you were sitting on it.
K.C. - Do your feet have tiny eyeballs in them?
Me - No, why?
K.C. - Then how do your feet fall asleep?
I love their innocence

What the!
I went in to check on Mckell tonight and found her sound asleep like this, upside down half way off her bed. She has the strangest sleeping habbits. We have found her on the floor, her head at the foot of the bed, in the hall way, any which way you can think of. Love you girl!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM
Today is my mom's B-Day. My mom is the greatest. She is always there for me when I need her, and even when I don't realize I need her. She is a great friend and a wonderful grandma to my kids. I am not sure what I am going to do when they leave on their mission. I love you mom - Hope you had a great day!!
Random Thoughts & Venting
Yesterday K.C. had his second soccer game. He did so good, he ran his little heart out! They lost, but they played a really good team.
Last night I took the kids to the parade, and I think I burned my bum - no I am not joking- We(well I, the kids stood most of the time) sat on a curb that was painted red and it was so hot. I have little red marks on my bum still and it hurts to sit. I think I got little first degree burns on my bottom. Anyways, the parade was fun and the kids loved all the candy they got.
AAAHHHHH! I am so done being prego! I am tired of not sleeping, heartburn, Braxtin Hicks, SWELLING, being huge and so uncomfortable, ligament pains, and everything else. I should be able to be induced on the 27th if the Hospital has room for me. I will know at my appointment on Wednesday. I fugure I can hold out for another week and a half. Although I am not sure if I am ready for night time feedings, all the diapers, and everything else that comes along with a newborn.
On the other hand I am so excited to have out little girl here and be able to hold her, and cuddle her, and kiss her, etc, ect.
Thanks for letting me vent.

Girls Night
Last night me, my mom, Cari, Malea, and Cari's mom went down to Vegas to see Celine Dion in concert at Caesars Palace. We had so much fun, we went down early to do a little shopping and then ate dinner at the Cheesecake Factory - YUM!!! I am not a huge fan of Celine, not that I dont like her, I just dont listen to her that often. But - I was very pleasantly surprised. The concert was amazing! We had really good seats - (4th row center stage). She has the most beautiful voice and puts on a great concert. I recommend seeing it if you get the chance, cuz this is her last year.

Alleebug
I was starting to feel like I was leaving Allee out - so here is to you princess. Allee is a character, she is hillarious, she constantly has K.C. and Mckell laughing. She is always on the go and wanting to see and do everything. Of all of my kids she is my cuddle bug. LOVE YA ALLEE!!
Preschool
Today was McKell's first day at Preschool. She has been so excited for such a long time about being able to go to school - she is sad that she doesn't get to ride the bus though. She is going to Kiddie Garden Preschool. I have heard really good things about it, so hopefully it is as good as everyone says. She is such a big girl, she didn't even want me to walk her into her class - she lost that argument:) - I LOVE YA PRINCESS!!!!
